The 27th of May is declared World Marketing Day.
The Kotler Impact (KI) in collaboration with concerned authorities, has decided to designate 27th
of May as the World Marketing Day. The day aims to highlight the importance of marketing in
business and society and to promote pride in the marketing profession. The day is a celebration
of marketing in a loud and bright way, welcoming members of the marketing community,
colleagues, and partners around the world.
“The evolution of marketing around the world has been an impressive journey, with many
changes. Marketers have helped many new organizations to emerge and enabled change in old
companies with centuries of history. They have changed societal attitudes and helped people to
communicate and find compromises. Today, in the context of digital transformation, we can
explore our environment more than ever, analyze consumer and customer needs in real-time,
and build relationships, the importance of marketing people is paramount. Let’s recognize and
appreciate this as we celebrate marketing on 27th of May”, says Ralf Strauss, Chairman of the
Board of EMC.
According to Sadia Kibria, Chief Executive Officer of Kotler Impact the 27th of May is now
declared as the day to celebrate marketing as it was the day in Chicago, USA in 1931, the Global
Star – Philip Kotler was born who changed the dynamics of marketing and has written more
than 80 books while having a huge impact on the development of modern marketing worldwide.
“The Board of the Kotler Impact has also decided each year on this day to announce CSR
initiatives. This year, World Marketing Summit Group pledges 10 million complimentary eWMS
tickets for students around the globe” says Dr. Fahim, Chief Marketing Officer, World Marketing
Summit Group (WMSG).
The 4th edition eWMS will take place on November 6th & 7th, 2023.
200 imminent leaders be presented at the electronic World Marketing Summit’23 and the online
conference be broadcasted in 120+ countries.
We invite the international marketing community to get actively involved in creating national
events and other initiatives in marketing and to promote the International Day of Marketing in
their communities and social networks. It is hoped that the International Day of Marketing will
be as successful as International Teachers’ Day, Medical Workers’ Day, World Press Freedom
Day or Boss’s Day, that are celebrated around the world.
